Quineka Moten

Quineka Moten serves as the the Director of the Phyllis Wheatley Center and brings with her a rich history of serving youth and our East Knoxville community. Over the last decade, Quineka has worked with the Knoxville Area Urban League, Great Schools Partnership (now Knox Education Foundation), and Metro Nashville Public Schools. She has served as President and is a dedicated member of the Knoxville Area Urban League Young Professionals. Quineka has also been a member of the board of directors for Centro Hispano de East Tennessee, Girls Inc., and the Knoxville Chamber's Diversity Champions.

Quineka first began her career with the YWCA ten years ago after she graduated from college as an After-School Enrichment Counselor and Senior Program Coordinator at the Phyllis Wheatley Center. We are so glad that her experience has come full circle.
