Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope Women’s Program

For nearly a century, YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley’s Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope Women’s Program has served as a home and safe haven for women in need. Women come to us from all walks of life and for a variety of reasons—and our mission remains the same: to provide affordable housing in a safe and supportive environment that fosters stability and self-sufficiency.

The program welcomes women without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. We offer wraparound services that meet each woman where she is and walk alongside her as she works toward her goals.

Please note: We are not currently accepting new applications.
Our Nancy J. Stanley Building in downtown Knoxville is undergoing major renovations as part of our commitment to better serve our community. When we reopen in late 2025 to early 2026, we look forward to expanding our capacity from 58 women to 72—creating an even greater impact for those seeking hope, healing, and a fresh start.

EAST TENNESSEE COLLABORATIVE: MOBILITY MENTORS

United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK), the East Tennessee Collaborative (ETC) brings together ten dedicated partner organizations with one shared mission: to help families achieve lasting economic mobility. ETC isn’t just a program—it’s a community-driven strategy built on empowerment, unity, and collective impact. Over the past year, ETC Mobility Mentors have devoted more than 40,000 hours to one-on-one coaching, helping participants define their goals and take charge of their futures.

We believe financial stability means more than making ends meet—it’s about creating a foundation for long-term success. Through personalized coaching, education, and advocacy, ETC connects families to the tools and support they need—breaking down barriers and opening doors to opportunity.
