YWCA Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley
Programs & Services
YWCA Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley serves clients from all backgrounds, year-round at our Phyllis Wheatley Center, Downtown Knoxville, and Oak Ridge facilities.
We provide safe, affordable housing to women and their families. We empower victims of domestic violence with the tools they need to escape their abusers. Our innovative GameChangers program encourages boys and men to prevent violence against women. Students at the Phyllis Wheatley Center participate in evidence-based programs design to help them succeed in school and beyond. We encourage healthy living with our affordable Club W membership program.
The YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Join us.
YWCA programs and services are made possible with generous support from federal, state, and local funders, as well foundations and individual donors. YWCA is proud to receive funding locally from United Way of Greater Knoxville, United Way of Anderson County, East Tennessee Foundation, City of Knoxville, Knox County, and many others.
