Dr. Martha Buchanan joined the YWCA Knoxville and the Tennessee Valley in October 2022 as the Interim Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Buchanan will serve in this role, working hand-in-hand with staff and the board of directors, while the organization participates in a local and nationwide search for a permanent CEO.

Before coming to the YWCA, Martha served as the former Director of the Knox County Health Department.
