Lauren Lindback joined YWCA in 2019 as the Supporting Youth Experiencing Trauma Program Coordinator and is now the Director of Anderson County Services. As Director of Anderson County Services, Lauren oversees all services in Anderson and surrounding Counties, including Court Advocacy, DCS Programming, Scattered Site Transitional Housing, and our new Supervised Visitation and Safe Exchange Program.
Her previous work experience includes extensive work in victim service programming, including emergency shelter management, as well as providing therapy for pregnant and parenting moms with substance use disorders. In addition, Lauren has experience in the HIV/AIDS field having worked in both Tanzania and South Africa with vulnerable populations. Lauren is skilled in program development, management, and trauma-responsive clinical service delivery.
Lauren is a Licensed Master Social Worker, with a Master’s in Social Work (Global Practice concentration) from Boston College, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. Lauren is also a Licensed School Social Worker.
