Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope Women’s Program
For nearly a century, YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley’s Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope Women’s Program has served as a home and safe haven for women in need. Women come to us from all walks of life and for a variety of reasons—and our mission remains the same: to provide affordable housing in a safe and supportive environment that fosters stability and self-sufficiency.
The program welcomes women without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. We offer wraparound services that meet each woman where she is and walk alongside her as she works toward her goals.
Applications for the Jenny Boyd Keys of Hope Women’s Program are now open.
Keys of Hope provides affordable supportive housing for women working toward recovery, stability, and independent living. Through a safe residential environment and wraparound services—including case management, recovery support, and life-skills programming—residents build the foundation needed to transition to permanent housing.
As we reopen our newly renovated space, we will initially accept a limited cohort of 10–20 residents, with plans to gradually expand to full capacity of 70 women as new residents become acclimated to the program. Move-in is anticipated to begin the week of April 13.
Access our online application here.

EAST TENNESSEE COLLABORATIVE: MOBILITY MENTORS
United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK), the East Tennessee Collaborative (ETC) brings together ten dedicated partner organizations with one shared mission: to help families achieve lasting economic mobility. ETC isn’t just a program—it’s a community-driven strategy built on empowerment, unity, and collective impact. Over the past year, ETC Mobility Mentors have devoted more than 40,000 hours to one-on-one coaching, helping participants define their goals and take charge of their futures.
We believe financial stability means more than making ends meet—it’s about creating a foundation for long-term success. Through personalized coaching, education, and advocacy, ETC connects families to the tools and support they need—breaking down barriers and opening doors to opportunity.
Note: YWCA is not accepting ETC Program applicants at this time. Please check back in soon for additional details.
