Bridget Baldau | Assistant Director of Phyllis Wheatley Center
Bridget Baldau is the Assistant Director of the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center. Bridget joined the YWCA in July 2016, starting at the downtown location, before joining the Phyllis Wheatley Center. In her current role, she is responsible for the day-to-day functions in the After-School Enrichment Program, as well as the Summer Kids in Play program during the months of June and July. Bridget has worked with youth her entire life, beginning in the babysitting field as a teenager, assisting students with special needs as a peer tutor in high school, and interning with the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County in college.
Bridget attended East Tennessee State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services with a minor in Family Studies, while working in the Social Work Department. She has a life-long passion for working with individuals in need and wouldn’t want to share her passion with any other organization.
